Tajín Mandarin Orange Margarita

This Mandarin Orange Margarita recipe is whomped up with a little spice from tajin, cool and refreshing as it may be, that spice will make you thirsty for more!!! Tajín is a Mexican Company that produces several varieties of condiments, consisting primarily of chili peppers, lime, and salt. It’s a perfect spice blend for the Tajín Mandarin Orange Margaritas recipe, with a little salt, lime, and some heat from the chilies.

I learned about Tajín from a friend, Carlos Sr., he and his two adult sons work with me. Carlos Sr. always brings lunch for his kids, it’s pretty cute. He sets everything up for them like they’re still children, cuts up their apples, and sprinkles Tajín on them. If you’ve never tried it on apples, I highly recommend it.

I use the canned Mandarin oranges for this drink because I wanted the syrup, but you can just as easily use fresh oranges and substitute simple syrup.

Here’s my Tajín Mandarin Orange Margarita recipe:

PROCESS:

-Sprinkle Tajin spice mix onto a small plate

-Rim the cocktail glass rims with mandarin orange syrup, then dip wet rims into the Tajin spice mix
