Guacamole Turkey Sliders

March 18, 2019 By Steven Leave a Comment

My Guacamole Turkey Sliders are loaded with flavor, topped with my homemade guacamole recipe, pepper jack cheese, and some good stone ground mustard, they are juicy and delicious with a nice little zing from the pepper jack cheese and guacamole. Perfect for a party, using a 2-ounce ice cream scoop to measure the slider patties, one recipe makes about 12-13 sliders. My Guacamole Turkey Slider Recipe gives you a nice, healthy alternative to a beef burger, and because these have so much flavor you won’t even miss the beef. When you mix the raw ingredients together, there’s a lot of green from the parsley and chopped scallions, some kids aren’t going to like the look, but it’s delicious and they’re going to love the way it tastes.

Guacamole Turkey Sliders

Here’s my Guacamole Turkey Sliders recipe:

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 Pound Ground Turkey, I use 85/15
  • 2 Whole Eggs
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 Teaspoon Dried Thyme
  • ½ Cup Parsley, fresh, chopped
  • 1/3 Cup Scallions, chopped
  • 1/3 Cup Bread Crumbs, I use Panko bread crumbs
  • 2 Tablespoon Olive Oil

PROCESS:

-Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat

-Place buns in the dry pan to toast, about 5 minutes, check frequently

-Add eggs to a large mixing bowl, scramble

-Add all remaining ingredients, except olive oil, to the mixing bowl

-Use a fork and just mix to combine

-Add 1 tablespoon olive oil to the hot pan

-Use a 2-ounce ice cream scoop to divide the meat into equal portions, scoop the patties directly into the pan and flatten them out a little to make them burger-shaped

-About 2-3 minutes on each side, until nicely browned

TOPPINGS:

  • My Homemade Guacamole
  • Red Onions, sliced
  • Tomato slices
  • Pepper Jack Cheese Slices
  • Stone Ground Mustard
  • Sliced Pickles
  • Fresh Spinach
  • Whole Wheat Buns
