Strawberry Sorbet Margarita

May 18, 2019 By Steven Leave a Comment

Do you love Frozen Strawberry Margaritas but don’t have a Margarita machine at home? Have I got good news for you! Any flavor frozen Margarita can be made with my Strawberry Sorbet Margarita recipe. I started making this Margarita recipe when I worked at the Four Season’s Resort in Dallas, half cocktail and half dessert, it was a big hit with everyone who tasted it. One of my duties at the hotel was to make all the ice creams and sorbets for different events, as well as the restaurant and room service, trust me, it’s a lot of ice cream.

My Strawberry Sorbet Margarita recipe combines fresh strawberries pureed with a top-shelf tequila and orange liquor. The cocktail is shaken over ice until bitter cold then poured into a chilled glass over a scoop of lime sorbet. The contrast between the sweetness of the strawberries and tart lime sorbet perfectly compliments the intensity of the tequila.

Strawberry Sorbet Margarita

I like to experiment with different adult milkshakes and cocktails made with ice creams and sorbets. The Frozen Strawberry Margarita has always been always one of my favorites. Not only is it a great cocktail, but it’s visually stunning and a lot of fun to drink. This Margarita recipe works great with raspberry sorbet, passionfruit, and the traditional lime flavor. Next time your shopping, take a look at the sorbet section of the freezer, I’m sure there’s a flavor of Frozen Margarita you’re wanting to experiment with.
